Hey, guys! State Convention is coming up quickly. Please take some time to look at the official contest handbook for complete details and rules for each event. Below, you will find a list of different convention events. Please note that for convention you must compete in a minimum of four events. Everyone has to take at least one academic test. You will be given a packet of all five tests at convention, but you only have to take one of them. That being said, take a look at the list below and pick out three other events that you want to do. One you've decided, ask Mr. Naylor for the sign-up packet. A copy is also available here on the website. If you are thinking about participating in any pre-convention events, take note that they are due on March 4.
Below is a very general agenda for Friday and Saturday. NCJCL hands out programs at convention with a detailed schedule for both days. If you have "free time" where you do not have an event, there are a bunch of seminars and other activities throughout the day to keep you entertained and educated. The packet (attached under Files) contains all the essential information for our trip. In addition, you will also find a map of the UNC Chapel Hill campus attached.
