What is JCL?Formed in 1936, the National Junior Classical League (NJCL) is an organization of junior and senior high school students sponsored by the American Classical League. Composed of local and state/provincial chapters across the United States, Canada, and Australia, it is the largest Classical organization in the world today with over 50,000 members. Its purpose is to encourage an interest in and an appreciation of the language, literature and culture of ancient Greece and Rome and to impart an understanding of the debt of our own culture to that of Classical antiquity.

Our ChapterOur chapter of the NCJCL is a boat-load of fun and very educational for those looking to learn more about Latin. We go to several conventions throughout the school year where we learn more about Latin and compete against other schools. If you're into chariot racing, then this is the club for you! We also have a variety of fun parties and get-together in between. If you currently take Latin and are looking for an engaging way to learn even more about it outside of class, then we would love to have you as a member of our chapter!
